I can also do the 6 week CGC (Canine Good Citizen) class and administer the test
as an AKC CGC Evaluator.

This class and test is a very good way for your family to save on your home owners insurance. This occurs where the insurance company may be charging you more because you have a certain breed of dog.or will not accept your breed of dog.
Insurance companies sometimes turn homeowners down for coverage when you have certain breeds.

The class/ test is also a requirement if you are going to have your dog trained for any kind of therapy role.

The CGC class is designed to help the dog and handler/ owner learn the skills
necessary to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Skills are: Accepting a friendly stranger; sitting politely for petting; appearance and grooming; walking on a loose leash; walking through a crowd; sit & down on command/ staying in place; coming when called; reaction to another dog; reaction to distractions; supervised separation. Students will train 1 hour a week for 5 weeks, with the CGC test on the 6th week.

If you dog is ready for the test without the training classes, please call me and I can test separately.
Dogs must be 6 months old and have basic obedience skills.
